Fujairah

Mountains Meeting the Gulf of Oman

Fujairah faces the Gulf of Oman and is distinguished by a dramatic combination of mountains, beaches, fishing communities, historic forts, and coastal settlements. The rugged Hajar Mountains approach closely to the sea, creating scenery unlike the flatter western coastline.

The emirate is also known for diving, snorkeling, beaches, heritage sites, and routes through mountain valleys. Its location on the eastern side of the peninsula gives visitors another perspective on the UAE's maritime history and natural diversity.
